Keen Cover Friday ~ No Ordinary Star (Astra #1) by M.C. Frank

Hosted by: Keepbooked

It's Keen Cover Friday! Keen Cover Friday is when I post a book cover that has totally captured my eye...and that will probably make others swoon over its beauty just as much as I did.

This week's eye-catching book cover belongs to No Ordinary Star by M.C. Frank.

No Ordinary Star is a YA fantasy sci-fi novel and was released on November 25th 2015 by Createspace.

Let's take a peek at the book's stunning cover...

The colours!! The space-like design!! Her hair!!

This is one of those books whose title matches perfectly with its cover - because No Ordinary Star has no ordinary cover.

The sci-fi theme of the book is delicately woven through the breathtaking cover shot. The model's pose is strong, confident, and free. I mean she looks like a star! That girl should be walking down a fashion runway somewhere, because not only is she gorgeous but that dress is a thing of dreams and needs to be in my wardrobe pronto!

I'm also suffering from a serious case of hair envy! It looks like Ariel from The Little Mermaid and all my Disney dreams come true.

Overall I think a round of applause is in order for whoever put this cover together. To that person: you, sir/madam, are a genius!

A soldier is summoned to the North Pole, days before the year changes, told to fix a the great Clock for a celebration. He has no idea what to do.

A girl, hunted for the crime of being born, almost dies out on the ice. She is rescued by the last polar bear left alive.

A library waits for them both, a library built over a span of a hundred years, forgotten in the basement of an ice shack. The world hasn't known hunger or sickness in hundreds of years. It has also forgotten love and beauty. The year is 2525.

Inspired by the short stories of Ray Bradbury, this futuristic novel is set in a world where Christmas -among other things- is obsolete and a Clock is what keeps the fragile balance of peace.

Written in three instalments, this is the breathtaking and sensual story of how two unlikely people change the world, and each other, one book at a time.

Immerse yourself into the icy cold world of this scorching hot new novel.
